From Sue

Welcome to my stitching online community which started in 2022 and has continued to grow with members from around the world join in to stitch.

NEW for 2024 is I have moved my project to my NEW WEBSITE.

Happy stitching and hope you consider joining the growing online community

Anne xx

I will still have my ko-fi page where you can leave a 'tip' to support me and I am really thankful to those of you that have done so. (See bottom of this page)

I do look forward to Fridays and the challenge that follows . I have gained so much from the nearly three years of following you Anne . Not just the flags and tags and my book this year I have to show but the confidence you have given me to have a go . I’m 72 years old and I can now embroider with confidence and joy! I’m left handed and always found books so hard to follow but your left handed tutorials are a treat . I’m looking forward to next year’s challenge. Thankyou xx

'Bobbin along' £3.50 per month

#52 yearly challenge is a 52 week project. There will be a weekly prompt video to give you inspiration to stitch,  just for the LOVE OF STITCH. You can also join a monthly 'tribe Tuesday' to an online stitch and chat evening.

'What's sewing on' £10.50 per month

In addition to the #52 challenge, tribe Tuesday, you will have access to the Stitching hour. This is a monthly LIVE hour and/or tutorial (if you can't make the live hour) and online 'stitch and chat' sessions where you can meet up with others and stitch together from the comfort of your home.

What's sewing on

‘I have been a part of Anne Brook’s annual and weekly stitching projects for 3 years and her creativity, easy watch, encouraging manner is so inspirational and motivating to get stitching every week. Her projects are not overwhelming but very manageable for beginners or advanced stitchers. People love to see what I do and several have joined me doing them. I wholeheartedly encourage you to give either the weekly or the monthly, or both a try. The costs are very manageable and worth every penny.’

Starting in 2021 I have been a follower and have completed 3 of your projects.  I started sewing when I was 8 on my Grandmother’s treadle sewing machine. I have done it all. If it involved a needle, thread, fabric, making quilts, needlepoint, knitting, crochet, even paper. At 80 hand sewing is perfect for old, stiff hands. Just love to listen to you and how you present a new stitch or project. ALWAYS look forward to the next challenge for hand embroidery. Thank you,

I have been with Anne online for nearly a year and in that time I have made a book, which I absolutely loved, a scroll, absolutely loved too and then this year joined the #52 stitches. I so look forward to the stitch of the week, it gives me a reason to pick up a needle and thread and listen to Anne gobble on! I am hoping to join more online courses/projects as I can’t attend in person as I’m on the other side of the world. Thanks, Anne, for sharing all your ideas, antics and information. Gill
