An accident, obsession and finding a new passion
A bit about me
In 2011 I was a wife, mum to 2 girls, a full time Head of art and as I always liked to be busy, had just completed my City and Guilds in Embroidery. Little did I know this would lead to an accidental second career and full fill a dream to be able to do my passion full time.
My obsession for hand stitching grew over lockdown as I set myself the challenge to stitch each week and then each day, little did I know how important this time would become., not only to me but also to others around the world that began to stitch along.
#sew4thesoul was something I developed as a breather in life, but it became something I needed for my own well being, alongside inspiring others to join in.
Stitching has been a part of our lives for hundreds of years and I love to share my passion of stitching with others. Be that in a workshop, via social media or in the projects and challenges I have set, that people all over the world have taken part in.
n 2024 that dream became a reality and I am now a full time textile artist, tutor & wobble gob, living and working in Brighouse, West Yorkshire.

Vision
To share a love and passion for stitch.
Be that through my work, workshops or sharing my wanderings and ponderings of life in my wobble gob vlog
