It was a very exciting weekend and I hosted my first workshop at Shed 76 1/2.My hubby was busy on Friday night finishing off last minute things before it was up and running on the Saturday morning. We were blessed with a sunny warm day in what had been a grey week ready for 11 lovely ladies to arrive for my new workshop...Sew Birdy stitched collage.
We were all very busy in the morning creating the collages of our birds....Blue tits, Robins, King fishers, Wrens etc were soon appearing on our tables...
The sun brightened our day as we finished lunch, got out our machines and began to transform the collages into beautiful lively birds. Once the machining was completed the hand stitching and embellishments were embroidered on. I am sure you will agree that the finished pieces are beautiful.
