This embroidery, titled ‘ Trio of Alliums‘ is a design of my absolute favourite flowers. I have lots of these dotted about my garden and the look beautiful dried as well.
 
The design is printed on cotton fabric in a pale blue ink and shares my ethos #4theloveofstitch.
 
I hope you too can find a love of stitch as you enjoy stitching the design, adding your own stitched marks and creating your own unique stitched picture. The template comes with my stitched postcards and an inspirational image flyer with photos of my sample.
 
In my own version I have stitched over all the lines, leaving none of the template visible. But this is personal preference. As is ‘going off piste’ and adding further stitching, as I have done in my own version.

Once completed I left my version presented in the embroidery hoop, but they can be applied to other items or combined with other templates to create a larger project. They could also be framed as a stand alone piece, I would suggest a box frame.
 
This template would also make a lovely gift for a fellow stitch-y friend.
