These embroideries, titled ‘Under the sea‘ and'Earth' are designs inspired by my wanderings, ponderings and work from the past 15 years.

The design is printed on 100% calico fabric in a pale blue ink and shares my ethos #4theloveofstitch.
Calico is a traditional fabric known for its unbleached and natural appearance, typically featuring a slightly coarse texture with a subtle grain.
 
I hope you too can find a love of stitch as you enjoy stitching the design, adding your own stitched marks and creating your own unique stitched picture. 
 
In my own version I have stitched over most the lines, leaving some of the template visible. But this is personal preference. As is ‘going off piste’ and adding further stitching, as I have done in my own version.
 
Once completed the template could be stitched onto a larger piece, combined with other projects or it could also be framed as a stand alone piece, I would suggest a box frame.
 
This template would also make a lovely gift for a fellow stitch-y friend.
